Due to a snafu in my planning, I missed meeting The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, at the official opening of Cirque du Soliel’s "Auana," by a day. I know, heartbreak. However, I did get to catch up with Jeanne Cooper, our Hawaii editor, at a pre-opening performance and attend a VIP experience, which included tasty treats (dinner basically) and fun cocktails. If you are heading to Oahu anytime soon, be sure to book your tickets (VIP is worth it) and enjoy this artistic and athletic portrayal of Hawaiian legends in the heart of Waikiki.
