I’m not sure if there is a more golden golden hour than a Hawaiian sunset. My daughters have trained me on photo taking basics during island visits; as a Kamaaina, (a person born and raised in Hawaii), I encourage all family functions to take place on a Hawaiian island (I’m not too particular). This golden moment was taken at one of our family celebrations in Ka'anapali, where various community and visitor events were created to commemorate the anniversary of the devastating 2023 Lahaina fire, as you’ll read in our new monthly round up on the latest Hawaii happenings, written by Jeanne Cooper who has been writing about our 50th state for over a decade.
